Like many urban communities, Fair Park suffered from decline and disinvestment in the wake of middle class flight to the suburbs during the 70s and 80s. Today Fair Park is showing signs of recovery thanks to the efforts of community development corporations like InnerCity. Since 1990, ICDC had built and rehabilitated more than 90 homes in Fair Park, providing hope and opportunity for low-income residents and homebuyers. |
